I have a series of Poinsettia paintings which are from the beautiful plants I bring home at each holiday season. This painting is also focused on the leaves of my old, beautiful Angel Leaf Begonia. With the holiday theme of angels the begonia seemed a good fit for the delicate flowers of that season's painting.
