My husband and I went to the Mozart Festival in Salzburg in the summer of 2006, the 250th anniversary celebration of the composer's birth.  We toured the area, made side trips to Vienna and Innsbruck, and had a grand time.  There were so many subjects for painting!

And before returning to the USA, we visited my niece and nephew in Bell, Germany.  Bell is a village near Koblenz, not far from the Moselle river.  And there were again lots of good subjects.
